Gamer's Forum is remodeling! (visually)
We're going to be redoing the skins, and global moderators will be able to design their own skins. Expect this to happen very soon, as I will begin to disassemble the stylesheet from Visual Effects (nothing wrong with it, it's just time for a change)
I'm currently working on my skin (it's ready for viewing, just modify your profile to see it), i'm sure rekkin and arcum will follow suit.

G'mods, you can officially make skins now.
other than the change, i wanted more customizability for the colors.
as for the old template, the template is gone, but the color scheme skin will remain for a time, for those who don't want to change.

sure also with this new setup, you can also design your own G'forum banners to put on your skin. (so Rekkin if you wanted to put your Banner entry up, you can do it) |

I was thinking about making a new, better banner (aka - much better text) for my skin. This is a good idea, Doshin, letting us design our own skins.

look if you want to criticise about something then at least make it constructive criticism. If you don't like the way it looks then why don't you make one? Its quite easy to understand... even a 6 year old can do it.
As for the name i do have to agree a little. I'm not crazy or thrilled about the name. Its just a little too bland for my tastes. Why not look in a thesaurus for some good names that mean the same thing? That is just a suggestion though, its not really needed. This isn't my site so I will not force you to change the name.

Yeah, just go to your profile and select 'G'Forum skin V3 classic' or something like that. It's what I use until I make my own.

don't you realize this is experimental??? come on, don't freaking bash it. don't like it? use the classic skin. ok, sorry guys. i posted at 1:30 am after doing like 4 hr of annoying homework. i was a bit pissed off. now that i've had a day to look at it, i think the color for the new forum skin is nice, although the background contrasts a little too much. I'll stick to the classic skin for now, just because i'm not exactly sure how to change the background on the new skin, but other thatn that its not bad. the old buttons/interface was getting a bit bland, and i agree it was time for a change. however, i still stand by my comment on the name, although a little less harshly: i think we should have a naming contest, similar to the banner contest. each user should be allowed 2 or 3 submissions, and we vote for 3 users. then, the final vote should be between the 6-9 names from those users. just a suggestion. i'm not forcing anything. |

I can say that my skin is up, but not finished. I hope to make some custom buttons for the UBBC icons and such. Eventually.

i have to say, rekkin's skin is awexome! i got bored halfway down the list of 2142131 different colors that youn have to choose, and started picking random shit. therefore my theme sucks, as indicated by its name. stevo's is okay, and doshindude's is great except maybe for the background. i havn't seen arcum's yet, but i'm sure it will be sweet. i think i'll stich with good ol' regular skin for now, until something comes up that is just incredible amazing (rekkin's pretty close, but not quite there yet)  |

nice, ill look for it.
the only thing that bugs me on ur theme is that it has only the default buttons on top, and the dots need to be changed. other than that: awesome.
