A moderator on PB support posted this:
I agree with this, I don't like it when people try to push firefox down people's throats. Those people just look like dumb firefox fanboys who don't contribute to the solution.

I agree with this, I don't like it when people try to push firefox down people's throats. Those people just look like dumb firefox fanboys who don't contribute to the solution. not necessarily. many of those "dumb fanboys" (myself included) have actually contributed to the creation/fixing/upkeep/etc. of the firefox browser (my self included), and feel that they have a vested, personal, interest in seeing it grow (myself included). however, those "dumb fanboys" who have nothing to do with the product, and are only riding the bandwagon (myself not included) definately deserve the title.

exactly, there's way too many bandwagon fans.
in a way, Firefox is gaining a bad name due to this, as many sites are not liking the "GET FIREFOX IE SUCKS" posts anymore.

Yes, now I do use firefox but that doesnt mean that I have to make people get firefox. People that shove anything down anybodys thoat are just stupid. It is moronic to try to force one to get somthing because, more than likely, you going to make the person sick of hearing the thing being shoved in there face. The reason why I use firefox is mainly because of the tabs. It makes it much easyer. Ok im not going into a big thing so Im just going to leave it at that.

i like the way they suggested firefox, but didn't force it.
as you can clearly see from my sig/avatar, i am a firefox fan. HOWEVER, i will not SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT, other than the occasional joking LMFS post.

yeah, i mainly like FF for the tabs, and honestly, other than the extensions (adblock>everything), firefox really isn't that appealing to me. I have noticed that firefox actually crashes a lot on me (more than IE at times and it happens a lot on sites like myspace or sites that have a lot of junk on them), and it's not the extensions or themes, it's the program itself.

no you need to disable some of the rendering engines. they slow it down a lot
type "about:config" in the url space

i know, but fasterfox only brings network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 30. a true speekhacker brings it to 200 or 250.
