www.comcast.net/news/technology/index.jsp?cat=TECHNOLOGY&fn=/2006/08/25/462930.htmlCNN.com is going to rebroadcast in real time everything that happened on that day on the news, i frankly think this is a good idea, back in 01 i didn't know what happened until late in the day. of course, there will be an option to skip all graphic areas (IE planes crashing, etc.), and/or watch the memorial service as an alternative.

I was in fifth grade when that happened, and I personally don't think it's the greatest of ideas. I mean, so many people got hurt, physically and emotionally, they don't need to re-live the horrors.

I understand what Rekkin is saying but it is a tragedy that should not ever be forgotten. If you forget the tragedy or pretend it never existed it would be like dishonoring all whom have died from it. It is a thing everyone needs to know and remember. Its way too important to dismiss it.

especially children who either have not seen it or were not old enough to remember.
it's like watching footage of pearl harbor or something, it's ok to see.

are they going to do it on the 11th? that would be just plain mean to all the families of victims. How? Its a historic day. It makes sense to remember the dead of the same day on that day. Its not for the people to relive the tragedies but more like remember the people whom lost there lives that day. For the people whom could not take it they have the choice to not watch it. Its as simple as that. I understand where your coming from but I just personally don't agree. That is all my opinion. Personally I do want to take a look at the whole thing again. I didn't know what was going on really either and now that I do know how serious it was it will be more memorable now.

sure it is tough to see something as horrible as 9/11, but all that needs to be known is that we are going to remember this tragic event for ages. This should not be forgotten for both security to the nation, and a constant reminder of the evils that live on this earth. These evil people need to be stopped as president bush made known.

Thats why thease people are so dangerous. it's not their religion. it's just the inappropriate misinterpritation of religion in the hands of extremists. its VERY important to make that distinction.
